Andrew Denyer has been involved with the film and television industry for 17 years. He started his career on the bottom of the ladder at 16 years old as a runner at Goldcrest Films before moving onto The Facility in Soho where he became a junior VT operator. Over his five years at the facility he worked his way up to senior VT operator before moving to Australia to work for the Fox television network and was supervisor of the technical team at Fox Sports for his two year stay which also covered the live broadcast of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. When he returned to the UK he joined International Broadcast Facilities (IBF) as a senior tape operator before moving into a bookings role working directly with Paramount Home Entertainment. He later progressed to head of bookings which with his technical background and great people skills gave him a big advantage over the outside competition. His most recent progression to director has been a reward that reflects his knowledge, professionalism, respect within the industry and clear vision for the future and challenges facing the film and television industry today.
